Received a letter from Lowell regarding NewDay?

We buy debt from lots of different companies, including NewDay. If we've sent you a letter about your NewDay debt, it means we've bought it from NewDay and you now owe the debt to us instead. But don't worry, we believe becoming free of your Lowell debt should be simple and affordable. Our customers aren't just numbers to us, they're people.

Who are NewDay?

NewDay is a UK-based financial services provider specialising in credit solutions for millions of customers. They offer credit cards under their own brands, such as Aqua, Marbles, and Fluid, as well as Bip, a digital-only card. In addition, NewDay partners with well-known retailers like John Lewis and Argos to provide store-branded credit cards and flexible payment options.

They process millions of transactions each year and support customers in making everyday purchases and managing larger expenses.

If your account has been purchased by Lowell, it means we now manage the balance you originally owed to NewDay. If you have any questions, please log in or register to review your account details, or contact our team.

Your questions, answered.

Why do I owe this debt to Lowell?

We’ve bought your NewDay account, which is a company that owns various brands including Argos, Debenhams, John Lewis & Partners, Pulse - Amazon, and Newpay.

That means you legally owe the outstanding balance on that account to Lowell now, instead of to NewDay. Any payments you’ve already made towards your account will transfer to us, so don’t worry – every penny you’ve paid will still go towards reducing your balance.

If you’ve been making Direct Debit or standing order payments on your account to any of the NewDay brands, it is important that you remember to cancel them – you don’t want to be paying twice!

We’re authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, so you can be confident that your best interests are at the heart of everything we do.

What if I don’t think I owe this debt?

First thing to do is register or sign in to your online account so you can see the details of the debt.

If you think there’s been a mistake (maybe you bought something from a NewDay brand and returned it; perhaps you’ve already paid the debt), or you suspect fraudulent activity, please get in touch with us right away.

We’ll investigate and help clear things up as quickly as possible.

If you’ve already made your final payment to NewDay, it could be that we haven’t got it yet. Get in touch and we can check for you.

Why is my balance different to what I expected?

There could be a few reasons for this.

If you’ve recently made a payment or returned an item, it might be that NewDay hasn’t processed it yet. Register or sign in to your account to check the details.
