What happens when we’re in contact?

1. We will listen

Once we’re in contact, no matter what you have to say, we will listen. Whether you want to set up an affordable plan, have any questions about the balance or can’t afford to pay anything right now, we will work with you whatever your situation.

3. Set up a repayment plan

We’ll help you set up a repayment plan that suits you. You choose what you pay, and when you pay, such as weekly, fortnightly or monthly. You can also pay using a number of methods.

2. Work out what you can afford

We have an online budget calculator that can help you break down your finances to understand what you can realistically afford to pay.

4. We’ll be there to support you

Once you have a repayment plan in place, we will get in touch with you from time to time to make sure that your payments are still suitable for your circumstances. If your circumstances change, get in touch with us to let us know.

What happens if we don’t manage to get in contact?

1. We’ll continue to reach out to understand your circumstances

If we don’t hear from you, we will continue to call, write, email or text you. We do this because we want to understand your circumstances and help you find the right solution.

3. Possibility of further action

If we don’t hear from you and are not made aware of any reasons for you not making contact, we may take legal action. This is why we ask that you contact us and let us know about your situation so that we can support you in finding the right way forward.

2. We’ll be unable to update your credit file

If your account is being reported on your credit file, details of any payments made will be updated to show you’re clearing the balance, which could improve your credit rating.

If you feel that you are unable to make payments due to financial or personal circumstances, please let us know us as soon as possible. The sooner we know, the sooner we can help you.
